I played sports my whole life, so working out wasn’t new to me, but I learned so much training with him. I’ve always been underweight, and my goal was to gain weight and muscle. What I appreciated most was his intentionality in assessing where I was physically, understanding my eating habits and busy schedule, and creating a plan that actually fit my life. With his deep knowledge of nutrition, he helped me increase from about 1,800 to 3,000 calories a day and reach 140 grams of protein. I had no idea what it would take to gain weight, but I trusted him completely throughout the process.

I met Jimmie during a time when I was trying to get my life back on track and was coming out of one of the most physically challenging periods of my life. What sets Jimmie apart is his ability to meet you where you are while still pushing you in a way that is both safe and effective. His approach to training is thoughtful and intentional. Every movement has a purpose, aligned not only with your fitness goals but also with improving your ability to move and function in everyday life.

At no point did I feel like I was following trends for the sake of it. Instead, his programming focused on sustainable progress, and the long-term results truly speak for themselves. Of course, many of us have goals of looking more fit or losing weight to feel more confident, but the value of working with Jimmie extends far beyond a smaller clothing size or a lower number on the scale. As a Veteran coming off deployment with significant knee, back, and hip issues, his training helped me reach a place where I can now work out with far greater comfort, stability, and mobility.

Like many people, I have had periods where I have fallen off track, but the foundation Jimmie helped me build has never left me. More importantly, he gave me the confidence and knowledge to continue training safely and effectively on my own. I regularly receive compliments on my lifting form, and that is a direct reflection of a coach who genuinely prioritized proper technique, injury prevention, and long-term success over quick results.

I worked with Jimmie for a few months and highly recommend him to anyone on a fitness journey, whether you are just starting out or already have some experience.
Jimmie is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the mechanics of every movement in detail, easily making modifications when needed. Also, he understands balance and knows exactly how to push you to progress without overdoing it, and he always prioritizes proper form over heavy weight.
During our time together, I felt a noticeable increase in my strength, my knees started hurting less, and my flexibility improved. He also taught me proper warm-up exercises and mobility movements that I still regularly use today. He is a fantastic trainer who genuinely cares about your progress and long-term health.
